Ingredients

AP Flour
1.5 cups
Cocoa Powder
3/4 cup
Baking Powder
1 teaspoon
Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon
Plant-based Butter
3/4 cup
Vegan Chocolate Chips
1.5 cups, divided
Ground Flaxseed
3 tablespoons
Dragon's Milk
1/2 cup
White Sugar
2 cups
Vanilla Bean Paste
1 tablespoon
Steps 1

Before you begin your brownies, add 3 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds to a bowl with Dragon’s Milk Reserve. Leave it to sit while you prepare your other ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 glass baking dish with plant-based butter.

Steps 3

Sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a separate bowl. Mix to combine.

Combine the sugar and vanilla extract to the flax mixture.

Steps 5

Add the plant-based butter and ½ cup chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Whisk into sugar & flax mixture, combining well.

Steps 6

Pour your dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir into a thick brownie batter. Add the cup of chocolate chips and stir in.

Steps 7

Scrape the brownie mix into your prepared 9×9 baking dish and smooth completely. Add a few more chocolate chips directly to the top of the brownies.

Place into the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. The brownies are done when they are dry and shiny on top and edges are set.

Let the brownies cool and firm up for several hours in the pan before cutting. Serve with a glass of Dragon’s Milk Reserve, and enjoy!
