Ingredients

Dragon's Milk
12oz
Mascarpone (softened)
16 oz
Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup
Heavy Whipping Cream
3/4 Cup
Coffee Liqueur
2 tbsp
Lady Fingers
(2) 3oz Packages
60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate
1 Bar (for shaving)
Ground Cinnamon

Steps 1

Combine 4oz (1/2 cup) of Dragon’s Milk with the softened mascarpone and sugar until well mixed.

Steps 2

In a separate chilled bowl, whisk together cream and coffee liqueur until stiff peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.

Steps 3

Pour remaining 8 oz. of beer into a separate bowl.

Steps 4

Dip and flip ladyfingers in the beer, one at a time, for one second per side and arrange in a single layer in the serving dish. (we recommend 9×5 glass dish). Tip: DO NOT over-soak the lady fingers, or you will end up with a soggy mess! One second per side in the beer will impart plenty of moisture and flavor.

Steps 5

Spread an even layer of mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers, smoothing with a spatula (approx. 1/3 of the mixture).

Steps 6

Repeat steps 4& 5, evenly layering ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture once or twice more, depending on how many total layers you want.

Steps 7

Shave chocolate bar over the top layer mascarpone with a fine grater, creating a layer of chocolate shavings.

Steps 8

If desired, sprinkle a dusting of ground cinnamon over the top layer of chocolate.

Steps 9

Refrigerate overnight before serving.
